Can I extend my Mercedes PCP?

We can only extend your agreement by a whole calendar month. Any request must be made in the last 6 months of your agreement, but before the last 30 days of your contract (you may be too close to the maturity of your agreement for us to arrange an extension). Please allow up to 7 days for your request to be processed.

Can I end my Mercedes PCP early?

If you have a Regulated Agility (Personal Contract Plan) or Hire Purchase agreement with Mercedes-Benz Finance, you have a legal right (under the Consumer Credit Act) to voluntarily terminate your agreement. This information will remain on your credit file for up to 6 years, which can be viewed by other lenders also.

Can I hand my car back after 3 years?

You can return it, but you’ll probably have to pay back any remaining money you owe on the contract, so if you still have a year left, then the lender will expect a year’s worth of fees up front.

What happens if I don’t want my financed car anymore?

Ask for a Voluntary Repossession If you simply can’t afford your car payments any longer, you could ask the dealer to agree to voluntary repossession. In this scenario, you tell the lender you can no longer make payments ask them to take the car back.

Can I change the make and model of my PCP car?

There is in-built flexibility with a PCP plan. At the end of the agreed period you can decide whether you would like to own the car outright- which you can do by paying the deferred value (GMFV) – or returning the car to the lender and entering into a new car finance agreement. At this stage for instance you may wish to change car make and model.
