What is CHOCKFAST used for?
GENERAL GUIDELINES Chockfast Orange and Gray are engineered epoxy chocking materials that are used to create permanent cast-in-place machinery supports for all sizes and types of main engines and marine auxiliary equipment.
What is Chockfast orange?
Chockfast® Orange is a specially formulated 100% solids, two component inert filling casting compound developed for use as a chocking or grouting material. Chockfast is designed to withstand severe marine and industrial environments involving a high degree of both physical and thermal shock.
What is a chocking compound?
Pourable chocking compound is a permanent and strong chocking solution for all types of rotating equipment. Especially when the surface of the foundation or the bedplate is effected by for instance corrosion or fretting and therefore not smooth, epoxy resin chocks are a good solution.
How do you use Chockfast?
Mix the Resin & Hardener Use a Jiffy Mixing blade or similar type mixing blade and a variable speed drill motor. Hold the can of Chockfast securely between your feet. Place the mixing blade all the way into the Chockfast and keep the blade submerged, traversing the can.

- Ensure that all damming is complete.
- For CHOCKFAST ORANGE only, decide from the graph the amount of hardener to be used.
- Bring the resin and hardener from storage.
- Put on gloves and eye protection.
- Add the hardener to the resin can.
- Pour the resin as soon as possible after mixing.
How do you get rid of Chockfast?
Allow the Chockfast to fully cure. The time required to cure depends on the steel temperature. Wait until the Chockfast has completely cured before removing the outer metal dam. Gently pry it away from the Chockfast.
