What is an ABBA stand?
The abba Superbike Stand locks to both sides of your bike, ensuring rock solid security when your bike is fitted to the stand. Both wheels can be safely suspended off the ground at the same time when used with the abba front lift arm or even your own jack/prop.
Are ABBA stands any good?
While the bike has a little bit of movement in it when it’s up in the air due to flex in the solid construction of the stand, it’s completely and utterly safe. With a maximum capacity of 450kg, there’s you’ll not be able to overload the Abba stand – the only slight risk is in the bike rotating around the swingarm.
What is a paddock stand?
A paddock stand is essentially a metal contraption that keeps a motorcycle stable while it is stationary. Don’t confuse it with a side-stand or a centre-stand of your motorcycle as with a paddock stand, you can keep one wheel, or both wheels in the air.
Why is it called Abba?

Why put a motorcycle on a stand?
A motorcycle center-stand is intended primarily for maintenance work, not for routine parking of a bike. It allows you to get one (or both) of the wheels off the ground to enable chain maintenance or removing one or both of the wheels. By default (on most modern bikes) it is the rear wheel that is lifted.
Do you need front and rear paddock stand?
You should be able to use the stand on your own, but if possible it’s safer to have someone help. If you’re undoing the rear wheel, crack the axle bolt before putting the bike on the stand. Never use a front paddock stand on its own (the bike won’t stay on it) – always put your bike on a rear stand first.
