Not a technical answer, but I think the comparative refresh rate is 120 ( not 240). Motionflow XR 960 is Son’y’s gobbledygook that they do some things to “enhance” the 120 refresh rate. I can tell you that sports action (NFL playoffs, NBA, NCAA basketball, figure skating) have all looked great on this Sony TV.
