What is a steering committee? A steering committee is a group of people, usually managers. It is formed to oversee and support a project from management level. Committee members are selected based on their stake in the project.
How do you present your project to a steering committee?
I always start with showing the project timeline. This project timeline is the first slide I present at a steering committee meeting. Using the same agenda structure in every meeting makes it easy for the participants to follow. I also create some extra slides for topics that need are more detailed explanation.
